Dupes, Dupes, Dupes - Flux [11:40:PST]
As most anyone who has been on battle.net the last few days is aware, there is a new technique out to dupe, and it works to make permanent copies of anything. Suddenly the channels are full of players offering clean 1.08 elite uniques, all of the best 1.09 uniques, godly rares galore, the highest level Runes, etc. The method isn't hard to do, and it's been posted on various hacking sites, and as is always the case with cheats, word has spread quickly.
Players are dismayed and disgusted for the most part, and talking about it in forum posts here and here and here. The generally-unplayable state of the Realm since Thursday is perhaps related to the duping activities, but this is just speculation.
Blizzard has made no public comment about this latest hacking outbreak as of yet, but it's unlikely they'll produce some miraculous solution. If you have clever ideas to fix all that ails the Realms, or just wish to vent your despair, you can do so in the forums.
