You might want to ID it and play around with it. I was working on a setup using an ID'd Gotter shortly before I virtually stopped playing D1.

Here's the theory :
With 0 resist your char will attempt to block projectiles (fire, lightning, the whole deal). Wouldn't it be great if you could prevent all damage instead of 75%? :) It certainly is, after they fixed thieves I noticed a huge increase in the damage I was taking. This occured because I now had resist because I had to ditch Gotter/Thieves combo and therefore was not blocking.

Anyway, I thought it would be cool if I could hammer out a setup that worked, but I met with failure. It was a terrific setup for all melee levels though, using my mage btw, dunno about warrior. Anyway, without having resist you can ditch your resist jewels and beef up other areas. So I was running around with arty level mana, tank level protection, and bashing shit with a King's Vampire bastard sword. It's basicly the 100% self sufficient anti-melee setup. No pots needed.

Anyway, the problem was getting ganked by projectiles means you get block locked and/or stun locked. I was looking for a nice harmony ring or something to try out to help the prob, but didn't find one. Anyway, it's still workable if you fight them in small groups of 2-3 ranged attackers at a time. Or are just really good with happy feet :) Doesn't work to well on all ranged levels though, that's a nasty experience :(

Something you might want to play around with though, if you get bored.
