As has been mentionned by others, I have not had a lot of time for Camelot. There are many factors in this. One is as Lamethu said, I do not have my own internet connection anymore. I was hoping to get back on track faster, but it just hasn't happened. Another factor is work. I only had 1 day off in all of December, and that was Christmas Day because the store was closed. With those kinds of hours, I just have not had time to get to a computer to try and get things done.
That doesn't cut it though. Excuses are no good. As KoRT my responsibilities are to be a "leader" or get out of the way and let someone else do it. The problem arises when we look at the roster. We have 2 HKs, 0 GKs and a handful of knights. One HK, I have not heard from in a long time, the other is unsure of whether or not they want to be KoRT. So who do I make KoRT? Who do I get to replace me. I have been here for almost 3.5 years. I started just like everyone else, as an initiate. Over a long stretch of time, I progressed through the ranks and eventually became KoRT. I was active for almost all of that time. Then the unfortunate happens. I lost my internet connection. I have not been able to get a new one yet, and honestly I am not sure when I will be able to. So I am left between a rock and a hard place.
At a time like this, the best solution would be to divide up the work between knights and remain on as KoRT to finalize decisions. The problem is, I have tried and tried to do this, but noone is taking any of the responsibilities. Which leaves me with having to try and do it all, and I just don't have time for that right now.
I don't want to see Camelot die. I have been here for a long time, and I want to be here for a long time, but I cannot do it alone for reasons listed above. So I am left with 2 options. 1) Get new KoRT and step down, or 2) Get Knights to do some of the work and continue to supervise them as well as do a small portion myself.
If there are any volunteers please e-mail me and let me know. I can really use the help. Even if you are not a knight I will consider your offer.
Lastly I would like to apologize for my lack of presence and lack of leadership. As has been said many times, Real Life comes first, but as KoRT I should not allow that to affect Camelot. I should either make time or get out. Unfortunately I have not had either luxury and Camelot has suffered because of it. I am truly sorry.
