People are praying, seeking comfort in "christ" and blindly hoping things will be alright. I'm sure many people here are strongly religious and possibly some know I'm very anti-religious. I don't mean to say that religion or prayer is wrong, but there are times when it's rather ineffective or just downright useless.

I just wonder how many of those that are praying have not given blood, or donated money, food, blankets or anything to the various charities and organizations helping those affected in the tragedy.

Oh, and before someone jumps on me for being insensitive or intolerant, I have a dozen friends who worked in those two towers who are still unaccounted for. what people need now is these supplies and help, they don't need to be prayed for right now. All who are praying, I must ask are you praying for those lost in this tragedy in the genuine hope it will help or are you praying because it makes you feel better, it assuades some moral obligation to feel sorry for the victimes.
If you are praying, it had better be because you think it will genuinely help bring some miracle down and save lives, otherwise you're part of the problem.

In respect to those that are dead or wounded, and in hope that no-one reacts hastily in anger to the world or to this post.
-Rob
