My mother was located today, she is unharmed, thankfully, but she is "trapped" in D.C. since she lost her purse in the struggle. thus hse has no id, money, phone, etc.. she managed to find a friendly store owner who let her call us here, and now it appears i and my dad are driving to d.c. tomorrow to get her.
i appreciate all of the sympathy here
for you cara:
i'm sorry that you feel this way. in case your wondering i have donated blood, and i've taken a month's advance pay (granted not much: only $160 after tax) and donated via red cross.as for what i am praying for, i will tell you:
i pray for the repose of the souls of the victims, and the volunteers who died trying to save them. i pray for the famlies of those victims. i pray for those who are still alive, but are trapped. i pray for the family members who are unsure of whether or not their loved ones are alive. i pray for the repose of the souls of the people who commited these actions, and i pray that God forgives them, even if I can not forgive them in myself. and now cara, i pray for you. i pray taht you do not offend someone with your views, and i pray that you may not topple thsoe who are desperately clinging to their faith in these times of despair. i can not chagne your views in a simple post on a messageboard, but i can leave you with a quote that i have heard many times:
"i would rather believe in God and after i die, find that there is no God, than to not believe in God and after i die, find out i was wrong"
yours in christ
