*imagines Chip in the role of Chris*

*faints with delight*

He'd be so much better than the guy on my recording! (what's his name again? Simon something? Not even worth memorizing; he irritates me) Chip's voice would blend so well with Lea's! Quink, that is pretty pathetic that you have most of that musical memorized...I have all of it memorized. *smiles proudly* It's the little things that make me happy. But now I'll always hear Chip in that role, just like I always hear Wayne singing "Too Darn Hot" in "Kiss Me Kate."

LKK, if you saw the commercials for the LA "Aida," you probably saw Patrick Cassidy.

Looking at a glance as you did on the commercial, I can see the resemblance. That role was originated on Broadway by Adam Pascal, who also played Roger in "Rent." But for some reason, I can't picture Chip in that role quite as clearly...I think it's because the character gives off more of a rough impression...I'm sure Chip could pull it off, but I'm used to seeing him in sort of a sweet light.

*looks around frantically* Oh here's the topic! Whew, thought I completely lost it for a second! I've seen Chip in the Sleepwalker Killing, and after that, I never watched him quite the same way again. I'd never seen him do serious acting before. He was absolutely amazing.

*sigh* Whose Line and Broadway: two items guaranteed to set me on an endless tangent. You've been warned.
