WOW---I have always wanted to go back and show my kids where I grew up but I am scared---I am afraid that all the fun memories I have and have shared with my kids would seem like a fantasy. I cant imagine the place being so quiet and from the way u make it sound "ghostly"
I can't imagine a better place to grow up!!! My kids think they have the life sitting out with there friends but thay have no real interaction and no real friendships--they have their iPods on and cell phones ringing...We on the other hand were all friends. We played jump rope and red rover---manhunt and watched the boys play ball. Bike riding around the block and roller skating was a sign that spring was here!
I would not change a moment of that---I still wonder time to time about all the people I knew back then!
