Date Posted: 00:15:47 06/06/05 Mon In reply to: Baylina 's message, ".bleed." on 23:10:03 06/05/05 Sun a dreaded question indeed though quite appropriate for the situation. her answer just as understandable as he nods slightly. independence an important think for ones such as herself. a pause given in which he used the silence to consider her words before nodding his glance falling to the girl for few seconds before turning back to Bay. understandable ... buying her lies as they seemed to go along with his own understandings. what she would have said should she have told the truth sure to have been less to his likings. he shifting slightly upon his cushioned seat as he watches her ponder his next words as carefully as he had created them. not amused with her answer but not showing it at the time as he reaches to his side and takes up a gobblet of wine, sipping idly before replying. not caring if all feared him as long as he got what he wanted. he not needing it really in getting his wishes though he found fear to be easier maintained. her respect not something he was striving to gain at the moment as much as that might put the other off. he really not caring as he stated before as long as his ends were meet. I am sorry but as is customary a deal is to be reached before exchange is complete.. there is not I will see what I can do... tone amused at the very thought his attention turning to the child as she was dismissed a nod given in permission though he had been taking pleasure in her struggles. it a pity that the fea wished to mess with the fun of watching her fear. her attention turning back to bay knowing the little one would have seen his signal she after all one of his best, really. I do not recall using those exact words but at any rate after all have learned you are free to leave at will the girl with you or stay it mattering little to me... words careful and quiet as he continues in his expressionless gaze. his dealings in this sort of thing, the way he had gotten the throne in the first place..... well sort of something's never to be revealed. no motives nor hint of anything readable upon his features as he rests back content in his chair. she really quite foolish to think that a slave could not be replaced should that be what she was thinking. the best coming and going like dogs only to be replaced with far better. ~ Tasha ~ seeing without looking the Kings little signal Tasha obediently raises to curtsey to each before turning to hot tail it out as polite as she could. not that she wanted to leave the fea to her doom as she felt it to be but not able mentally to linger any longer. her frame remaining tense as she pasts what sounded to be her newest mistress should the deal go through. fear unmasked in her eyes as she fled with a controlled walk so close to breaking down. hands being wrung before her in her nervousness as she only relaxed once hitting the shadows outside the door slipping away to await Bay in her room, knowing a command when given one. relief slow to return to her thoughts as she stood dazed looking about in silence.
