A slight expression of worry came upon the child's face when she was not answered after a matter of moments...had she frightened the girl? But after being introduced Anabel put on a big, friendly grin. Sticking out her hand to shake, the child says, ::It is certainly nice to meet you, Ivy.:: After contemplating what to say for a moment, Anabel speaks again. ::I didn't mean to frighten you...there aren't too many children here in Rome. I was wondering if you want to be my friend?:: Clearly the girl was trying to be friendly, but she knew that it might take a while for Ivy to warm up to her.::
