Minx was perched atop a lightweight chestnut sprite, built for speed more than strength. Her light leather armor good protection against blades and arrows. Her long raven tresses tied back in a braid down her back, she wore Theo's livery, and was behind him to one side slightly. Her own mount was standing to attention, cued to her alone. She had practiced with this mount many times and they linked together on the brain wave, able to sense one another's needs. Raven had never fought before, but the terror that surged in her was supplanted by an adrenaline and a confidence that Rome would not last long.
