It had taken the fleet of Spain’s seventy one ships three weeks to sail to Rome. Indeed, they had been unlucky in their voyage, the sea was not with them on half of the days. But with the man power they withheld, they had made it in only two days behind the French and Chinese army. Indeed, the French had brought along many men, and with the fleet that Mark could see many miles in front of them, he knew what kind of battle they were in for. Of course, it had taken the French and Chinese a day to get set up, their own camp and what not, fending for their own and being quiet. And this was when, Mark and his own army moved in, of course, sailing a few hours out of the way to the backside of Rome. Mark’s men were harbored in about the Roman castle, and they had unloaded all of their supplies, horses, wood, food, armor, shields, spears, bows, arrows, daggers and swords. King Mark’s men slept in the court yard of Rome, safe from the enemy invaders. And yet, he knew that Lord Draaven would soon be making an appearance, so he hung tight. However, as day break came, he could hear the enemy army marching and he readied his men, just waiting on the signal from Draaven. It was true that never had the walls of Rome been breached, and with the powerful force of Rome and Spain, it would not happen again. Mark’s men all moved into their line, ready for battle. His archers stood in front, waiting to go to the Roman wall and fire down at the invading army.
