Innis stepped unfolded himself from the coach and stepped out, rising to his full height, the height at which he easily stood eye to eye with all but the mightiest Troll. Once again he bowed with hat and cane, bag at his feat. "My dear guards, I will offer no offense to you, but I will say that I do not in fact carry on my person any devices to harm. Please, put away your swords, for even if I were armed I am hardly a swordsman equal to your skill."

Innis slipped his hat back on and unbuttoned his coat. Indeed, the suit was so tight to his thin form, only baggy at the joints, that there was little room to conceal any sort of weapon about his person. Still, he stood ready to be searched without offering resistance.
