Subject: The Proposal
In reply to: Baron Eo 's message, "Tea and Cake" on 08:31:57 10/07/03 Tue

Innis stood as the baron entered, bowing gracefully, one arm across his chest and the other swept out away from him. "Good evening, sir Baron. As to my suggestions...I will need to look within your walls first, but I took the liberty of bringing detailed plans for other builds on whose construction I have directed."

Once the Baron was seated Innis went into his bag and drew forth a large scroll, laying it across the table. The page depicted a complex set of mechanical and architectural schematics for a house and its plumbing, heating, and the like. As he began to point out the features, Innis put on his best salesman face and explained, in layman detail, the intricacies of the Morlock house design. Plumbing that brought hot and cold water to the upper floors without the need for servants and buckets, heating ducts that circulated heated air throughout the house, as well as a rather amazing system of message tubes that allowed scrolled messages to be moved from floor to floor.

"There are other devices not included in this design. Small elevation devices moving from the kitchen to the rooms above it by way of clockwork, clockwork automata, and several other steam driven devices. Of course...these require far more construction, and adaptation of dwellings to these fixtures costs rather signifigantly more. But I assure you that those things within the diagram are standard within the dwellings of Mist City, a standard provided by the Morlock Guilds and upkept since time immemorial. I assure you, sir Baron, that we of the Morlocks have centuries of experience in our craft. You will be most impressed with the results."
