Author: Baron Eo
Subject: an Interruption
In reply to: Innis Dupoir Nachtsteltaffen 's message, "The Proposal" on 22:31:20 10/07/03 Tue

During the course of Innis' explanation, the Baron's regarding eyes never left his study of the Morlock's face. In fact, so utterly attentive was the Baron, that Innis was reminded of the stalwart gaze that the Nevermen regard potential criminals with... though his study didn't seem accusing, it was none-the-less very, very thorough. As the Morlock completed the last of the brief summary, the Sidhe kept his hand on his chin, massaging it as if lost in thought. Though he did take a brief glance at the impressive scroll laid out before him, it seemed as if his true interest was lying in the bearer of it.

"Most impressive." He spoke at last, still in his charismatic, befriending tone. The smile returned to his eyes, replacing whatever studious gaze was there, and he fluidly crossed his arms and leaned back into his chair. "It would seem you truly ARE as you say - and that your people are as capable as I've heard. I would, indeed, like to have my homeplace advanced in your peculiar fashioning. I'm not one to miss the most advanced updates to my style of living of course, and I can only imagine what the other -"

His talking ceased as he noticed that Muskie is standing at the doorway, rubbing his chubby hands together anxiously. The Baron lifted a finger to the Morlock, gesturing a brief pause, then motioned the Boggan to approach. Soon enough Muskie and the Baron were conversing in low tones - however not low enough for Innis to fail to get the gist of the conversation.

Appearantly, one Sir Carteban was requesting council with the Baron - regarding a Knocker problem, something to do with a thief, and about something simply referred to as "the Machine". When that last phrase was uttered by Muskie, only then did the Baron actually attempt to hush him. In fact, at that moment, he told Huskie that he'd deliver the message himself, and dismissed the Boggan.

"Sir," He spoke to Innis "I'm afraid pressing matters have been brought to my attention. If you'd like, perhaps we can arrange for a second meeting tommorow evening? I'd very much like to continue to consider the proposal."
