Elandra looked the Eshu deep into his eyes, hers revealing her attempts to assess him completely. Trust was a precious commodity in these nights for her, and she would have to sail on the prayer that this man was worthy of it.

"Very well, sir, as you have been so kind and heroic. I shall give you my story. It began with the murder of my father by officials... working under the rule of a knight named Sir Detrik." She seems to shudder at saying the name "A foul creature, from the depths of hell I'd say. He's the kindness of a rabid Alligator, and the cunning of a fox. None the less... I don't know rightly why he killed my father, but soon after he kidnapped me, and for 2 years kept me a constant prisoner in his tower... claiming to all that I was HIS daughter, and through crafts and dark arts convincing me it was so... almost. A part of my mind resisted. Needless to say, I had all but adapted to living in the dark, malice filled walls of his manor, having given up all hopes of any other kind of life... when by chance, a thief stole into the house. A roustabout man by the name of Ian.. Ian O'Righty. Through good fortune he came upon me... and well, at the time he would have saved me given the chance. Luckily he escaped without detection - but he promised he'd return for me. He did return, several times over the course of a month or so until he finally had his plan laid out..."

She paused long enough to wipe away a forming tear, and continued...

"Through his clever ingenuity, and a well laid plan, he DID manage to rescue me - and we fled the dark place together, seeking shelter and to find someone to help. We travelled for two months not knowing who to trust... until we were finally caught and seperated. Ian risked his life again to garauntee that I not make it back to that prison - and was again a success. Now I am free, and believed they had him. Though I thought my fortune was much better off (despite my sorrow for poor Ian's capture), my ill luck persisted! A week later, I found myself being ruthlessly persued by mercenaries - narrowly escaping several times through a wilderness chase... until I came upon those two chaps back there in that wagon, the coachman and the nice warrior... may they both rest in peace. Before we were ambushed, the warrior mentioned that Ian may not have been brought in after all, and must have escaped - for heard he of a bounty out on Ian currently, which was put out as of Last week! Good news and bad... and now, I don't what to do. I can only assume that he's back in that manor by now, and I must help him."

She thew her arms up in a surrending manner, and dropped her face into her hands. Through them, she spoke as she wept:

"Sir I cannot in all fairness ask you to help me in this task... I can say that doing so may bring to you the riches of the manor I speak of - for which I can personally attest to the richness of. Though I can only assume that being the hero you are, you may insist
