The highly publicized Saturday FoH meeting followed by the Democratic Party meeting on Development in Ghent Town Hall Sunday offered the so called expert opinions by their advocates who to date have not faced the silenced voices of the unions, bureaucrats, politicians etc.responsible to overseeing our economically balanced tax base.
Stop, industry that is as diversified as the needs of the people they serve by glossing over the real facts that run away red ink budgets are wreaking on our interdependence calls for personal and organizational accountability.
On the one hand,we see the FoH Planners saying what they will do with the SLC 1800 acres now that they have killed the SLC Replacement Proposal with no FoH millions on the table to buy the property should SLC put it on the market.???
Using the escalated red ink budgets that are afflicting our educational institutions to keep our taxes down by stopping development is so bogus that it defies the thinking minds of people. Such absurd analysis comes from the minds of the not in my backyard mentality that has recently been making waves by the well organized perpetrators with their divisive scare tactic intimidations that SLC and others seemingly succumbed to.???
I'll be voting "NO" on the HCSD budget in the hopes of seeing more of my fellow tax payers doing the same so as to get back to the basics to teach students how to read, write and do arithmatic by applying themselves to use their brains to its fullest potential instead of getting preoccupied with how to disrupt the system and the host of providers who cater to their "Rights"to tell the Parents,Teachers, etc.OFF in colorful language, Etc.
Perhaps your readers and customers can be contacted for their input to the recent announcements made by FoH and the Democratic Party.
