Tom -
you open this letter "The Horrendous Terrorist actions in London like the ramifications of the HCSD Austerity Budget,"
But you fail show that there is any similarity between the "terrorist actions" and "the ramifiacations of the HCSD Austerity Budget."
Posing such a simile without making any kind of a case for it seems simply irrational - which may be why "The Editors" are rejecting your letters. They don't make sense, and seem like disoriented raving.
You continue:
"...brings in to focus the need to follow the Money trails of money laundering by drug trafficking entrepreneurs, etc.in the International Arena and the Actions at home by our Politicians and their Bureaucracies to face the realities of their red ink budgets who are unwilling to take the blame for their responsibilities."
But again, you fail to make any connection, even by analogy, between the "Money trails of money laundering by drug traficing entreperneurs, etc....and the Actions at home by our Politicians and their Bureaucracies..."
This doesn't make any sense. You need to sit down with the Flem or someone else who has a reasonable grasp of logic and writing, and have them help you learn to edit your writing.
Because when you get past the nonsensical ranting, once again, you have a valid point to make, objecting to the fact that anyone would urge "The City to donate #100,000.00 of tax payers money before the HCSD Board and Administrators have come up with a POLICY to improve the quality of Education in their systems."
I agree with your objection entirely. The probelem here is not money for sports. It is getting the HCSD to face up to, define, and propose practical solutions to remedy, the very real problems Hudson's kids face. Anything that allows them to sidestep those issues is counter-productive to the well-being of the kids.
If you would couch your point in clearer, simpler language, without gratuitous and pointless references to such things as "Terrorists" and "drug trafficers" - which really have nothing to do with the point you are making - then I think your letters would be more readily accepted.
As I've said before, Tom, I think you have some fine insights. But you need to learn how to express them without being either needlessly offensive or incomprehensible if you want to share them effectively with others.
