DAWN Buffy? FAITH Is he…is he some kind of relation? DAWN He’s our Father FAITH Oh god! B, I’m so sorry Buffy doesn’t speak a single word still, the rain gets heavier with Dawn’s breath. Faith stares at the two of them FAITH Is there anything I can do? Dawn are you…are you okay? DAWN I’m fine BUFFY H…How… DAWN What? BUFFY How can you be fine? DAWN Buffy – he was evil! BUFFY Evil? DAWN He tried to split us up – he tried to take me away and he hurt you BUFFY But… DAWN He was never there anyway! Glory was heading to the door and…and…and she t-turned into Faith and just carried on l-like it was what she was doing in the first place NANCY Heading to the funeral GILES Buffy XANDER You think she went after her? GILES I don’t know what I think SPIKE I think we go and take her down! WILLOW No! No taking down of any kind, we have no idea if Faith knows that she’s connected to Glory SPIKE She’s obviously more connected than your brain! There’s no connection they’re one and the same. Two minds in one bloody strong body XANDER Hang on a sec, how come Tara and Nancy can remember this? Didn’t we all blink and miss it last time? GILES He’s right ANDREW Maybe it’s something slayer related XANDER Glory’s not related to…oh, wait I get it WILLOW Are you saying that Faith being the slayer could hold off some of the link? GILES Brilliant XANDER Okay I missed something SPIKE I think we all did GILES If there’s a weak link she’ll be easier to reach when in Glory’s form – Faith will be easy to communicate with KENNEDY Guys hate to be little miss takes over but – Faith’s with Buffy shouldn’t we get back to that idea? CUT TO. INT – CAR – NIGHT Everyone is still sat in complete silence as Faith opens the back door DAWN Where are you going? FAITH This feels like an insiders special. I’m gonna go stake somethin’ Faith slams the door as Buffy turns to Dawn BUFFY What’s wrong with you? DAWN What? Nothing BUFFY Exactly. You’re father, however much of a jerk, he’s dead and you don’t even care DAWN Of course I care BUFFY No…I…I can feel it you don’t care. You’re glad that he’s gone DAWN You know what? Yeah! I am glad! Dawn jumps out of the car and slams the door, Buffy follows her in the rain BUFFY Where are you going? Dawn carries on, Buffy catches up and grabs her by the arm, spinning her round. Both girls are soaked as they stare at each other BUFFY What the hell is this? Buffy looks over Dawn’s shoulder, an army of slayers are stood their, she blinks the rain from her eyes and looks back up – nothing Buffy grabs Dawn’s hands, they flash with blood before looking regular DAWN What are you doing? Get off of me! BUFFY You…you’ve killed someone DAWN No… BUFFY Yes you did! Who did you kill? Buffy drops Dawn’s hands down and steps back in shock BUFFY Oh god… DAWN Buffy no! BUFFY You…did this…You did this! DAWN Buffy! BUFFY What are you? DAWN I’m your sister! BUFFY You are NOT her! She could not do this! DAWN She isn’t even real! Buffy freezes in horror DAWN Everyone’s always saying how “they key is Dawn, Dawn is the key” well it’s not! I’m the key! I’m the power and she’s gone! BUFFY Where is she? DAWN (shrugs) Who could tell? “Dawn’s” eye’s flash red before she smacks Buffy flying into the bonnet of the car before very casually walking off “DAWN” On with the game END OF PART ONE INT – SUMMERS HOUSE – NIGHT Buffy comes sopping through the door, water dripping off of her. WILLOW Buffy! SPIKE You’re alright! Did she hurt you? BUFFY You guys know? WILLOW Tara told us BUFFY How did Tara know? XANDER She saw her BUFFY Saw her what? XANDER Turn into Glory BUFFY Dawn’s Glory? XANDER We’re talking about Dawn? SPIKE Faith’s Glory! BUFFY Faith!? WILLOW Where’s Dawn? Buffy looks down with a deep breath BUFFY I…I don’t know GILES She ran away? BUFFY The person I was with, the person we’ve been with for days, weeks – maybe even months. It’s not Dawn. It’s the key SPIKE Dawn is the key BUFFY No, they’re together but Dawn was always in charge – my best guess is FLASH TO INT – HOSPITAL – NIGHT Xander is knocked over as a burst of energy comes through the door it hits Dawn. Willow’s life restoration spell Dawn lights a green glow – her eyes flash green also. FLASH TO. INT – SUMMERS HOUSE – NIGHT BUFFY There’s more – I had another dream, or, a vision – the slayers, the past slayers I saw them all, it’s what clued me in. I don’t think any of this has been what we thought it was. KENNEDY What do you mean? BUFFY They’ve been trying to warn me for months about an attack on the slayers – they’ve been pushing me to an answer then suddenly what? They change their minds and tell me that they’re doing the killing? It doesn’t fit! GILES Are you suggesting that your dreams are in some way manipulated? BUFFY That’s exactly what I’m saying! Up until a Dawn went to the hospital everything was pointing in one direction and now it’s all over the place TARA Wait d-do you think that it’s been something else this entire time? Like Dawn’s out their somewhere or…do you think that the key has taken her over and Dawn’s still hidden somewhere in there? BUFFY I don’t know! All I know is this thing’s powerful and it has my sister. Glory is not a priority for me now! KENNEDY But we have to stop her! BUFFY I have to save my sister! KENNEDY I have to save my friends! BUFFY Then do it! WILLOW Buffy, I don’t mean to you know, paint over your picture but didn’t you hear us say that Faith is Glory? BUFFY I did. I don’t believe it – if you have proof I’ll deal with it but all we’ve had for however long is smoke and mirrors. For all we know it could be that THING that has Dawn – it could be projecting images to all of us XANDER Buffy Glory’s not an illusion – she killed Wood BUFFY Then find Faith – find her and let me know exactly what she is Buffy starts to the door WILLOW Where are you going? BUFFY To find my sister! CUT TO. EXT – GRAVE YARD – NIGHT Faith is walking through the rain, her eyes are wet but clearly from tears for Wood. She pulls a stake out at the sound of rustling FAITH Bring it on! Come on show yourself Faith is taken back as Glory comes out from the trees FAITH Who the hell are you? GLORY Don’t you know? I’m Glory FAITH You killed Robin Glory smiles at Faith before morphing into her. Faith is stood face to face with herself “FAITH” That’s not what they think! Now won’t it be crazy when I lead them straight to you after I kill all those other slayers? They’ll kill you then I’ll kill the blonde one and the power – it’ll just be. FAITH Be? “FAITH” No place to go so there’s my chance. I’ll grab that power while it’s floating up in the atmosphere of wherever the hell it goes, I really don’t know – then I’ll grab a ride in some mortal. Imagine all the power of the key with all the strength of the slayer She morphs again, this time into Dawn “DAWN” I can already control the elements by getting emotional – imagine how crazy things would be if I hopped on board a schizophrenic, or, hey maybe I should just save you for my shell FAITH Glory never came back… “DAWN” Oh she came back alright and I went straight into that house with my little minions and they bowed down to the great Dawn. They knew just where I was and they knew just what that Hell bitch would do with me or…Dawn is she got away. FAITH Not kill you half as much as I’m gonna? “DAWN” Oh she tried! We released her, we made her solid and she knew straight away that I was the key She morphs to Glory yet again “GLORY” But I’m so damn stupid I went and tripped and snapped my neck on those powerful hands – turns out that immortals can be killed by something more powerful than… FAITH The First. This is just like with the First “GLORY” You wish I was the damn First! “Glory” slaps Faith down to the ground. “GLORY” Now, let’s see what we can’t do about setting you up for the death of all those girls CUT TO. INT – WILLOWS ROOM – NIGHT Tara and Willow are holding hands as they sit opposite each other WILLOW You ready for this baby? TARA I’m ready Willow lights up, the light channelling through Tara in waves. Tara becomes breathless TARA I see…I see her… WILLOW Faith? TARA Dawn… The light fades away as Tara is left with a white shock streak at the side of her hair – she sweating and panting. WILLOW Tara? TARA She’s alive – she-she’s here, she’s near us I can feel her WILLOW Where? TARA I don’t know – but she’s calling – she doesn’t want to be there WILLOW Is…can you feel Glory? TARA They’re not…I don’t understand WILLOW What’s wrong? TARA I can’t feel her anywhere, I mean she’s there but there isn’t there. You must think I’m crazy WILLOW I believe you CUT TO. EXT – GRAVEYARD – NIGHT Faith smacks “Glory” to the ground as she stands, she becomes “Buffy” “BUFFY” Here we are again! Me kicking your ass FAITH Looks the other way to me “BUFFY” You’re right “Buffy” spin kicks Faith with all force – she falls smashing through the roof of a tomb – “Buffy” carries on through the grave yard smashing up stones along the way. She peaks down the hole at a bloody Faith who does not move. She morphs back into the form of Faith and grins down at her “FAITH” I do kick ass! Buffy walks over to Spike and whispers into his ear, he frowns with confusion before nodding along to what she’s saying. CUT TO. INT – KITCHEN – NIGHT Xander walks in on Nancy and Andrew XANDER You okay? NANCY I’ll live ANDREW I…I’m gonna go see if Vi needs anything XANDER Thanks NANCY Thanks ANDREW Don’t mention it Andrew walks out and leaves an awkward silence behind him NANCY Xander stop worrying. I knew what I was getting myself into when I came her – I could’ve stayed excluded XANDER I don’t want you getting hurt like that again NANCY Xander – I’m not going to die XANDER You don’t know that! She thought she’d never die, ever! Xander and Nancy both are shocked until Nancy walks over and kisses Xander on the forehead NANCY I know what she meant to you XANDER I just miss her so much NANCY I understand CUT TO. INT – DINING ROOM – NIGHT KENNEDY What’s going to happen if she finds Faith? GILES That’s Buffy’s decision KENNEDY She can’t just kill her GILES I’m afraid we may have no choice KENNEDY So far I’m not seeing a we in this anywhere Both leap up as the door comes crashing open – Faith “FAITH” Hey KENNEDY Faith! Willow, Tara, Xander, Nancy and Andrew come running in XANDER Its Faith! She’s in the house “FAITH” What’s going on? GILES Everybody just stay calm “FAITH” Calm? What’s the deal? Where’s Buffy? BUFFY (O.S) I’m right here “FAITH” B, your friends are flipping out BUFFY It’s okay. We have things to do. Buffy grabs Faith by the hand and leads her off out of the door, Spike watches them leave and Faith winks back at him with a red glint in her eye as the door closes ANDREW Did anyone see that? WILLOW Oh! I’m not going insane! That’s good, not the eye thing the insane thing and the not being and…shouldn’t we go help? SPIKE No. Nobody leaves. She knows what she’s doing. CUT TO. EXT – FOREST – NIGHT Faith and Buffy arrive at the woods, Buffy drops her bag to the floor “Faith” walks over to her “FAITH” What’s this? Buffy is stood at the burnt out area of woods as she suddenly throws Faith, face down onto the floor “FAITH” What the… Buffy keeps her foot on the back of her head so that she can’t get up without serious snappage. Buffy pulls the lid off the slayer box and the portal opens straight up without the puppets. BUFFY Get in Buffy removes her foot and picks “Faith” up “FAITH” What? BUFFY It’s the source to the power of the slayer – I need you to take it “FAITH” Hey like I’m gonna turn it down you didn’t need to be so forceful BUFFY Just do it “FAITH” More power huh? Interesting “Faith” grins as she steps to the portal – she’s immediately blasted back, her ‘mask’ peeling back as she lands. Green light comes out from all holes BUFFY Evil doesn’t always mean smart after all CUT TO. INT – TOMB – NIGHT Faith is laying still as white light appears INT – DAWNS ROOM – NIGHT Faith is stood at the foot of Dawn’s bed with Dawn FAITH Why am I here? DAWN You’re the only one who’s not awake – apparently being a non-physical entity means nobody can listen to you and when you’re awake for fright you don’t sleep FAITH So why am I sleeping? DAWN You’re not – FAITH Am I in another coma? Damn! DAWN You’re not in a coma – you’re out cold in a tomb, you got beat up by the key FAITH You beat me up? DAWN I’m not the key. I haven’t been with the others for two and half months now FAITH Damn! So, where are you? DAWN I don’t know but I need you to get a message to Buffy for me FAITH Sure DAWN Tell her I’m safe FAITH That it? DAWN Tell her I’m safe, but she’s not. The Key is power, all power and nothing else. It has no feeling, just the feeling’s of it’s carrier. FAITH I remember now, It said something about that DAWN She’s in trouble Faith – get up. Get into the woods and help her, tell her she needs to listen to her elders Dawn fades away as Faith’s eyes spring open. Faith leaps up out of the tomb and sprints across the graveyard. CUT TO. EXT – WOODS – NIGHT “Faith” is giving off light, distorting Buffy as they fight – the light from the portal is also coming through causing a blinking effect as Buffy fights on. She’s weak from the fight and is about to give in as another Faith appears – the real Faith. FAITH Buffy? BUFFY Over here! “FAITH” Where? FAITH Don’t answer her! That wasn’t me! BUFFY Faith? Lights are all over the place as everyone moves around. Suddenly the light cuts off as Faith boots “Faith” in the back, smashing her into the portal – it closes after letting out a burst of energy that flings both slayers through the air They stare at each other across the woods FAITH It’s me BUFFY I know Buffy stares at Faith for a while, shaking before bursting into tears, Faith runs over to the slayers side and holds her head in her lap as she lets it all out. The rain stops. END OF PART THREE INT – SUMMERS HOUSE – MORNING Faith and Buffy are both covered in bruises as the other’s sit around awkwardly staring at them both BUFFY I’m just glad it wasn’t Dawn who actually killed him Spike and Giles pass each other awkward glances WILLOW Are you having a funeral? BUFFY His Sister’s taking care of all of that. I guess we need to get hold of RJ XANDERS Vi’s gone to see him today TARA I-I’m sorry BUFFY What for? TARA (to Faith) Everything FAITH Hey don’t sweat it. You had everyone’s back’s it’s cool TARA I was t-thinking m-m-maybe we could work together, you know, to find Dawn. I mean, after she spoke to you it would probably help FAITH Glad I can be of service Faith follows Tara out of the room as Willow sits down next to Buffy. Giles is stood in the door way and Xander is sat in front of her as everyone else spreads around the house XANDER We’ll get her back wherever she is BUFFY I know WILLOW Now that the Key or whatever it was is, you know, smooched then we can focus on, y’know, getting Dawnie back XANDER It is gone right? BUFFY I have no idea Buffy stares out of the window, something isn’t right. CUT TO. INT – WOODS – NIGHT The bag ground begins to shake violently as is tears open a green fog seeps out from it CUT TO. INT – SUMMERS HOUSE – NIGHT BUFFY I think we’ll be okay END.

It was hard having her remorseless about killing. It wasn't hard having her do the killing as much, but I'm glad the casual attitude wasn't her. I like Faith's role here, and Tara's. Well done.

You should go and work for ME, you could fix their problems with continuity. Some freaky stuff going on with Dawn. Freaky but intriguing. Hey this is unfair! I only just found out who Glory is after days of trying and failing now I have to work out what's up with Dawn. I;m guessing the blood on her hands symbolises her part in Hank dying.Yay it does Got taken away by my mum and sis visiting but back now. OK now I'm all confuzzled Dawn's the key, Faith's Glory but now she isn't, she's Dawn..and then Dawn's Glory but Glory never came back. This is like a who's on first base :D For a sec there I though that BUffy was going to do the wrong thing and give whoever that was more power. Glad to see she knew what she was doing. Oh so The Key is all of these people I get it LOL Cool. Still think this is the bestest series ever you've written :D I knew something was going to happen other than Tara with that spell. But then thougt must be wrong!
