BUFFY This isn’t a joke GLORY So you really went and died anyway? Who’d have thought, well, other than me because it was so painfully obvious you were that much of an idiot you’d end up dead anyway WILLOW Shut. Up. EXT – GRAVE YARD – DAY Buffy walks through the yard, she flicks her eyes to her Mother’s grave and pauses before continuing. ‘Benjiman Walker : 1977 – 2001’ Buffy looks hard at the grave before touching the letters JOYCE So sad isn’t it, someone so young BUFFY You’re not really here JOYCE Does that even matter? BUFFY No, I’m glad you’re here JOYCE You know Buffy you’ve got to stop blaming yourself for Ben’s death – it saved my little girl, you saved her and you’ll do it again like you always go BUFFY I’m not so sure this time JOYCE Why are you so doubtful? BUFFY I don’t know JOYCE You’ll never understand how much I enjoyed your company, but she needs it more and I love you both, of course I’d like to see Dawn again but not if it means you’ll be alone BUFFY I’m sorry I left you JOYCE Don’t be! JOYCE Hell, Buffy – make the right decisions – somewhere inside you know what they are Buffy closes her eyes as a tear rolls down her cheeks BUFFY Thank you, thanks for looking after me – always Buffy opens her eyes again she’s alone. INT – SUMMERS BASEMENT – DAY Willow comes down with a large tray of food WILLOW Dawn, Janice is on the phone Dawn stares at Glory harshly before walking back up the stairs GLORY See when she went blonde, she got it right – the girl’s gonna make something of herself one day, well that’d be a fact if she wasn’t about to die and all WILLOW You hungry Glory? GLORY Starved, thanks for caring Red, you’re a peach Willow sits on the chair in front of her and begins munching into a huge club sandwich WILLOW I’m feeling real immature today so I’m gonna stay right here and eat my sandwich, drink my soda and have this great big muffin okay? GLORY You know I’ll kill you WILLOW Sure I do! I’m actually shaking right now GLORY Confident little creature aren’t you? WILLOW You know what, I sorta am. Go figure Willow grins as she munches on the sandwich. Her smile is knocked off by the sound of crashing glass upstairs. She drops her sandwich and runs up the stairs, crashing the door shut as she leaves – the mystical ball holding the barrier collapses off the shelf and rolls just outside of Glory’s cage. CUT TO. INT – SUMMERS HOUSE – NIGHT WILLOW What’s going on? A hooded demon – much like, but definitely not a bringer throws down Willow. Xander punches one of the demons and smashes another through the television set. Dawn comes running in – the demons back off. DEMON She lives! DEMON’2 We must help Glorificus. All of them bow at Dawn’s feet DEMON Please forgive us mighty one but Glorificus must be free Willow and Dawn look at each other DAWN/WILLOW Glory! The girls run down to her – she’s skulking in her cage, the doors open but she’s not left WILLOW Did I miss something? GLORY You idiots bought me back wrong! DAWN What? GLORY Those warty freaks tried to free me, broke your little spell – only problem is I can’t touch a friggin’ thing! Look! Glory tries to punch Willow and goes straight through her GLORY Thanks for not getting me a host! WILLOW She may be getting back at me for a food incident but, um, she says she’ll keep disappearing until we make her solid BUFFY Can’t we make her like a toaster? DAWN It needs to be alive BUFFY A gerbil? XANDER Gerbils can’t talk BUFFY Well this sucks beyond all realms WILLOW Buffy this is serious BUFFY I know (rolls eyes) Glory, let’s talk business! Glory pops back in – the others (Dawn, Xander and Willow) look at each other and walk away BUFFY Sit down GLORY No can do sweetie BUFFY Fine then just shut up and listen GLORY You know if you’re gonna be rude then I’ll just go float elsewhere CUT TO. INT- XANDER AND ANDREWS APARTMENT – NIGHT Andrew drops a baking tray down on the side as he burns himself – the phone rings. ANDREW Xander and Andrews non-love apartment how can I direct your call? SPIKE It’s me ANDREW Xander? SPIKE Don’t bloody think so ANDREW Spike! SPIKE Keep your voice down ANDREW Oh, it’s okay I’m alone everyone’s at Buffy’s baby sitting the goddess or something SPIKE Willow gone off again? ANDREW Glory SPIKE They got Glory back? ANDREW Spike…what’s that noise? SPIKE What’s what noise? ANDREW Are you alone? SPIKE Little bit yeah ANDREW You’re breathing SPIKE Right, um yeah Andrew I… ANDREW You’re totally breathing! INT – BASEMENT – NIGHT Willow, Dawn and Glory are covered in light CUT TO. INT – TAXI – NIGHT Kennedy is covered in light as is the driver CUT TO. INT – XANDERS CAR – NIGHT Xander and (Giles who we can’t see) are covered in light CUT TO. INT – BUFFY’S NEIGHBOURS HOUSE – NIGHT Buffy’s neighbours are covered in light INT – SUMMERS HOUSE – NIGHT Andrew is covered in light. The light all dims out as both cares pick up speed and Spike runs away. BUFFY Spike! Willow comes running out with Dawn BUFFY What? What’s wrong? Ok you managed to make me feel sorry for Kennedy..but I'm still happy she's gone..was going to wrote something here but I won't in case it's true and I wreck the whole season. Like Buffy I'm glad Spike's back but then that stupid barbie made him leave again. Any one smell melting barbie doll in the microwave yet ;) Totally loveing all this. Just when you think one this is one way you completely twist it again on us poor unsuspecting readers. You've put alot into this toryline haven't you coz it's brilliant. *wail* I want more. The minion demons seem to (worship?) Dawn. Is that just from her being the Key? Kennedy/Willow is getting touching. Oops, they quit touching. Your favoritism for Vi is showing, and I like it. New host? Wonderful. Goddess, goddess. Who's got the goddess. How we have to guess who the host is. I'd have liked to see her as a doll, small and Gachnar-like.
