I said I couldn’t imagine the gang without Xander and now this is it
TARA
A world without Xander…everything changed when he left here
ANYA (O.S)
I wouldn’t give Xander that much credit
VI
Think about it, you became a vengeance demon when he left you, He talked Willow down from darkness, he protected Dawn all the time and he done his best to keep Buffy and Spike going too far!

They all turn to see Dark Willow hovering over them
WILLOW

She grins before bolting energy at them, throwing them in different directions
Spike is walking through the graveyard on the other side, Buffy is stalking him
SPIKE

SPIKE
Yeah but you’re doing my head in
BUFFY

Spike looks over and sees that Willow is hovering
SPIKE

Spike runs over to them, Andrew is already dead on the floor
WILLOW
Well, well look what the slag dragged in
BUFFY

WILLOW

BUFFY
Blah! Skin treatment lately vein face?!
WILLOW
Look who’s talking?
BUFFY
Oh please! I am so gonna…
Willow waves her hand and a tree branch swings through Buffy’s chest – she dusts
Spike looks on in shock as Anya goes to teleport away, Willow freezes her in mid transport.
WILLOW
Don’t leave now!
She hurls a ball of energy and smashes Anya into pieces before floating down to the ground.
WILLOW
Who’s your friend?
TARA
Stay away from her
WILLOW
Oh did Tara finally move on, apparently you’ve still got a thing for the red heads
TARA
Shut up. You’re not her
WILLOW
Who Willow?
TARA
You don’t get to speak her name
WILLOW
Whatever!
Tara runs at Willow who pauses her on the spot and holds out her hand, a gun materialises
WILLOW
If at first you don’t succeed
She aims the gun directly at Tara’s chest and shoots her in the back as she unfreezes and tries to run away.
WILLOW

Vi falls down as Willow raises into the air and throws her hand up – the skies literally tear open to reveal space as things begin lifting from the ground and out of the whole
Willow brings her hands down and throws a bolt of lightning at Vi, who flies across the ground and hit’s her head on a grave stone
CUT TO.
EXT – GRAVEYARD – NIGHT

(rubs head)
SIOBHAN
You’ve been out for like ever
VI

SIOBHAN
You didn’t go anywhere
Vi stands, still a little out of it she runs off
SIOBHAN

INT – HOSPITAL – NIGHT
Xander stands to his feet as the Dawn’s eyes spring open (the spell from the previous episode has kicked in as this episode is in the exact same timeline)
Dawn springs up in her bed
DAWN
I feel…different
XANDER
Good different
DAWN
Alive different
XANDER
As opposed to being dead?
DAWN
Xander!
Buffy slowly walks in the door looking sad, before seeing Dawn and running up, hugging her as she bursts into tears
DAWN
Buffy what’s wrong?
BUFFY
You know…you know how much I love you right?
DAWN

BUFFY

(sniffs)

DAWN
Buffy what’s going on?
BUFFY

CUT TO.
EXT – DAWN’S ROOM – NIGHT
Buffy and Xander are stood outside, watching Dawn sleep
XANDER
You wanna talk about it?
BUFFY

The part that made you cry with not happiness even though your sister was feeling better
BUFFY

(beat)
He want’s Dawn to live with him

BUFFY

BUFFY
He went completely crazy and…
Vi comes sprinting down the hall and throws her arms round Xander
BUFFY
But people apparently have gone crazier
XANDER
Slayer strength! Slayer strength!
VI
Don’t leave. Ever, ever!
XANDER
Um…what did you smoke?
BUFFY
Vi what’s going on?
VI
Scary alternate reality! No Xander – lots of dead people
XANDER
So I’m like, a god?
VI

VI
The world was scary
BUFFY
When did you get home?
VI
About…not long ago. Is Dawn okay?
BUFFY
She’s going steady
VI
Right, um I cut in so…
(Thinks)

Vi walks away slowly as Buffy and Xander look at each other with that “she’s lost it” look
XANDER
…You were saying about Spike?
BUFFY
I didn’t say anything about Spike
XANDER
You didn’t let me finish…Sp…rite, you want some?
BUFFY

Xander shifts awkwardly

Buffy turns away in disbelief, Xander puts his hand on her shoulder

ANDREW

ANDREW

The light’s go out
ANDREW

INT – SUMMERS HOUSE – NIGHT
Vi walks through the door and calls out

Willow?
TARA (O.S)

Buffy?
Vi slowly walks upstairs and aims for Buffy’s room – she swings the door open to see Tara who is sat in the corner looking lost.
WILLOW (O.S)
Vi is that you I just saw coming in?
Willow walks into the room
WILLOW
What are you…
(shock/tears)
Tara?
TARA
W…Willow
WILLOW
T…I…What…
TARA
I was so lost
Willow throws herself down to Tara’s side and kisses her on the head, she looks up at Vi with her eyes flooded with tears her face drowned in confusion at she strokes Tara’s head. Tara is crying into her lap as Willow looks even more confused
