I was thinking about this too. It really irked me that exupery seemed to slam grown ups in his book and it really bothers me when any wuthor does this. It seems really silly to criticize people for being realistic when that is just the way that you have to be sometimes, you can't always be romantic. I think that it is just as important to see the world for what it is as it is to be able to see the world for what it could be, and to enjoy the little things in life. i see what you are saying and I just wanted you to know that you are not the only one who feels this way!
