Well, I think Jean-Baptiste supports both being the master and the slave, since a slave has absolutely no responsibility other than to obey his master, and a master can dominate all of his subjects. So, naturally, it's an excellent form of human relationships that Jean-Baptiste can fully endorse. Though, it raises the question of whether Jean-Baptiste sees himself as a slave, or as a master. Or even if he himself would want to participate in that dichotomy.
