I know you've long turned in your paper by now (hopefully). My intro was about this long as well, I think it was even a bit longer. Dr. Jackson told me to break it up in one or even two places, which you have done. The last paper I turned in had a long introduction (about a page and a half) and Dr. Jackson was fine with it being as long as it was because it did what it was supposed to (for the most part...). Dr. Jackson's idea of an intro is very different from everything I've learned about writing introductions in the past, including last semester, I never would have thought that a two page introduction would be alright, but I guess it is. I like your intro, it should be fine, length and content wise.
