That is a good observation that I didn’t really pay much attention to. I wonder what books he would end up being concerned with, and how those would end up shaping a new Quixote. I also wonder what, if anything may be implied through this final passage in terms of what sorts or genres of books Don Quixote would end up reading and using to replace his chivalric literature. Also, I wonder if his family and friends would adapt their view and end up condemning a new genre of literature if he became enthralled with it in the same way he did with his books of knight-errantry.
