I agree. There is a very real struggle for Hamlet as to whether he ought to kill Claudius, or disregard the prompting of the ghost and possibly let his father's murderer go free. This struggle seems to culminate in Hamlet's speech in III.iv: "... but heaven hath pleased it so, / To punish me with this, and this with me... I will bestow him and will answer well / The death I gave him" (177-81). Here Hamlet comes to grips with the necessity of his duty to kill Claudius and avenge his father, but, at the same time, he seems to know that the action of itself it not right. In the end, he resigns himself to the overwhelming force of the will of heaven: "but heave hath pleased it so".
