wow that was quite a critique of Hamlet there... I think that obviously there are things to critique about his character, but I'm not sure I would be so harsh. You seem to be taking the view that his flaw is that he can't get himself to kill. I for sure wouldn't call that a flaw. As angry and furious that he was about hsi father's death, or as angry and furious as anyone would be after they find out that their father was murdered, I still think it would be hard to get yourself to kill someone. I wouldn't call someone who could turn around from that situation and murder someone, a strong character. That would be the flawed character. The Bible tells us to "not return evil for evil."
It was his God-given conscience holding him back, not his week character.
