One of my pekes did just fine with the first dental cleaning by my second peke did horribly. The anestesia was too much for him and I was very worried. Luckily, he's fine, but I don't know if I'll ever risk getting a cleaning again. I have been buying dental wipes at PetSmart and cleaning their teeth almost everyday. When these run out, I may experiment with a doggie toothbrush and doggie toothpaste.
