Cada ciencia tiene su parcela de trabajo. El alma no puede ser objeto de estudio de la ciencia precisamente porque su existencia carece de demostración empírica o experimental. Así es la ciencia, que acepta los límites de su saber. Los teólogos deben dedicarse a hacer su trabajo, si es que puede llamarse trabajo.
