I learnt that john cusak isn't a reliable base for an enjoyable, informative test

I don't even think I've spelt his name correctly

I also learnt not to use things like qwertymnbvc as passwords

then it was surely worthwhile

its an unusally specific test...you would have to have never seen any films with him to not know which cusack you would be becoming when answering the questions...

do you think anyone who doesnt have a full time job to be distracted from ever does this sort of quiz?

In short Kelso, no I don't

And I also have the confidence to assume that people with full time jobs are the least likely to have seen the majority of cusac with a K films

I personally don't like john cusaq, I think he's a bit of a stale screen presence but apparently it's because of him that 'Serendipity' (broadcast during the christmas season, refer to your xmas radio times) has been offered a three star rating instead of a more appropriate one to one and a half stars. I presume of course, having never seen this film, but going from what I know, it's pretty much guaranteed to be poobar.

i saw it, and its poobar the elephant...but i like john cusack...he generally chooses good films to be in...its all about high fidelity and being john malkovich...i quite liked grosse point blank too...

ah, yes. I neglect being johnny malkovich, that is a good fillum. My thoughts were clouded by americas sweethearts of which I saw not a lot.
I guess I forget the former because he was bearded

then sir, i ask you to retract your statement and consider this new one, john cusaque is in fact quite good, he just appears in some shit films, where as a rule he is one of the only redeeming features

I am not one for retraction but will correct the statement in line with our findings.

john kusaqk hits the mark when he chooses his projects using his passionate intellect as oppose to other passions i.e money or sex (this is speculation for sure, but that is science after all)
maybe by this we can also say that the man is quite fussy in his passions but not in his appearance as he is happy to perform inadequate roles when he is offered nothing to appease his particular mind.
and he was happy to scrag up with cameron diaz

The internet movies database has this to say about the man:

"John Cusack is, like most of his characters, an unconventional hero. Wary of fame and repelled by formulaic Hollywood fare"

Which, fabulously for my self-confidence, backs up my statement nicely. I would hardly call Serendipity, Americas Sweethearts and Con-Air contemporary hollywood fare.

The movie "martian child" in which he will star, is also in pre-production. imdb outlines the plot:

"Crushed by the death of his fiancée, a writer (koosak) adopts a 6-year-old boy in an effort to create a family. The boy, who desperately wants a father, is troubled by the idea that he's from Mars"

which could go either way on the strength of the evidence supplied by two forum posters who say respectively:

WB2071 - "i am a lesbian who has adopted a child...a simple, beautiful story"

innoirwriterhell - "Cusack is too chicken to play a gay"

(any information omitted from those posts was, believe me, useless)

Our man is also currently filming "Must Love Dogs" (A fortysomething preschool teacher looks to the personals for a change of pace)

and "A Dolls House" which I fucking hated having to study at long road. A feminist play about some woman who doesn't run away because of the injustice but because she's too goddam stupid to know that her husband's having a go at her because she's a complete slut

why do the two posts mention him being gay in the film, the description of the film doesnt...unless his fiancee was a man. but that would still negate the lesbian comment...i suppose she was talking about how she relates to it...can you clarify whether he is a homosexual man who adopts a child (who thinks he is from mars) in the film?

i also wonder how long a message board conversation about the merits of john cusack can hold itself up...

indefinitely i'd say

and i'm lead to believe that in the short story on which this film will be based the protagonist is indeed a gay man who adopts this martian child upon the death of his fiancee
debate is raging on whether they will make him straight for the film even though there is no indication either way and apparently his sexuality isn't really approached in the story anyway

piffle i say

if he's straight then theyll make more money at the southern box office, if hes gay, they may profit from the oscar win (his moving portrayal of a man succeeding in the face of adversity...and something about his wife dying and child adoption, but thats not the meat of the story)

the life of the hollywood exec is a tough one

husband kelso, husband

if it's not really approached in the story then it should be equally as indistinct in the film. Anyway, I'm sure mr kousac would rather play a homosexual part, he's played loads of straight people and a motion picture with martian adoption calls for a stray from the regular student hitman under-cover record shop puppeteer slacker woman loving love machine that he always plays

that said, there are a lot of people playing gay martian foster parents recently, does he really want to be joining the crowd?

obviously, but maybe not depending on what the truth actually is

perhaps it's all cooked up by the jc publicity board to heighten the sense of mystification surrounding the man and therefore make his odd movie decisions seem inline with his enigmatic nature. he loves to hate to love to love hating the formulaic (when he is told to?) it seems

we should write him soon

I bet he loving it

we still have to write to terry as well though don't forget, I haven't thought of anything mundane enough yet. Or we could quiz him on john q-sack as he seems against replying to us
