Hello, it is the estranged bass player of the band whose name i don't know. This is a short note to the others in the band and dellar and maybe rich. i dont know who goes on this anymore.

I finally got to go on the internet after a week, and was bitterly disappointed at the lack of encouraging emails saying good luck and how much you will miss me. ha ha. I think in a couple of days i should get internet in my room so then i'll probably be on msn all the time and it will just be like ive never been away.

I'm having a mixed experience so far. Stockholm with mum was lovely, then i came here and stayed at the youth hostel which was fantastic. travelling must be like that but better. then they made us come here on monday morning and nothing really happens until wednesday, so you cant meet anyone really. my room is massive but all my flatmates are swedish which is good, but they have all been there two years so they dont really feel they need to make friends or talk to each other or me. by some fluke this guy at the youth hostel was in my building so it wasnt as bad as it could have been.

I played cleandirtyverse to this guy at the hostel and he liked it. woo. he was the one who told me about Roskilde festival in denmark. we have got to go there next year guys it looks amazing. Hopefully you will sort out the covers soon and send me some to my address which is

Mariehemsvägen 15E-110
90653 Umeå

feel free to write to me also. but i will be in lapland for two months with any luck starting on monday. no idea what my address/accomodation/communications will be like there, or even how im getting there.

with regards to the website, i reckon we should get a myspace.com music page. Not as a replacement to this, but for now we can update it and you can load up songs and people can link to each other through 'friends'. your first friend could be myspace.com/billyanddayo. hee hee. there are probably ways of browsing through location, but i dont know which city of the three you would choose.

hopefully someone will read this and it wont just get lost in the realms of poker and free love ads.

love auff

glad to hear you're having a nice time sir, sounds like you've just been around places so far, what sort of work are you going to be doing there? and when do you have to do it?

hope you succeed in your internet, we should be able to send you stuff through msn and you can fiddle about...
any luck finding an acoustic bass? i hope you do find one, me hotch and nicos had a lovely time playing stuff at the campsite at green man, but would have been even better with you...

you might be right about the myspace thing, i could change it so highvinyl.co.uk automatically linked there. wish i could remember how to work the ftp though, then we could design the cleandirtyverse site. bah.

dudes

i managed to pick up a cheap but pretty good acoustic gutiar, but the only acoustic bass ive seen so far costs around £1000. i have found a piano player, a singer/flautist, and someone who plays clarinet and cello. i doubt il get around to sorting anything out though. any luck with reason yet? if poss i would like it posted if you can get it copied. but no worries if not.

just checked the gmail account. you really should have emailed/called laurence with the address/number he gave us becuase he was going to do it for free wasnt he. they will probably quote us something stupid.

off to lapland next week so im not bothering with internet in my room until i get back becuase i have to pay for it. i have no clue what the situation will be there. i guess they wíll have to have some kind of connection. assuming im not camping for two months. talking of camping, noone seems to have heard of glastonbury festival. i thought it was like world famous!

at some point il try to finish tabbing the hv basslines if you still want them. ive done most. do you want the new ones? your c4 would be a bit of a mission but i could do the others.

this is a very sticky keyboard

Hello mister, How's the lovely scandinavian countryside? townside? What you been upto? What's the lovely new guitar like?

ohh, I have a new car, nothing special but it runs (just) and gets me from a to b. It's a little peugeot (prob spelt wrong) and it's just nice to have some freedom. Anyway, That's about all i've done!

How are the rest of the band? Kels? Ally? Nikos?

alright del boy

i am having a lovely time. where i am now is very remote indeed but really beautiful, i can now see blue skies, a rainbow, and snow on the mountains. and a very large lake.
glad you are well and have a new car. i miss driving and want to have a go at driving on the right. not sure anyone will let me. cycling on the right doesnt seem too hard...

just noticed something on the website, the two news posts we have on the main page from this year actually say 2004 and not 2005. so if anyone ever did stumble upon us, they would think we are even less active than we actually are! i know we cant change it though. hope you sort out the cds and bass players and gigs and stuff soon. ive been annoying everyone here with the cd.
