Ok, figured since I'm the family "Christmas host" better jump in here. Actually I haven't been keeping up with the message board. Been a little busy lately...traveling...and spending 12 hours in and out of airports and planes trying to get to New Hampshire, but that's another discussion.

Yes, I will be here for Christmas...the hostess with the mostess. Taking off for New Years sounds like a good idea Laura! Maybe I should plan a little mini escape!

My tree is in the stand...naked...thinking of partially dressing it tonight (I've had too much diet pepsi tonight to go to bed). I've bought some presents...waiting to get inspired for the rest...not having too many inspirations this year. I'm thinking of how I can creatively disquise my kitchen that is under going a "redecoration"

Now, as for Christmas dinner. No Shawn I haven't pinned down the exact time dinner will be served! We'll probably do the normal aim for 5, eat at 6. I am planning buffet style. I am looking for ideas for a "theme". Good recipes, etc. Time to try something a little different....remember the waldorf salad?

Well that's all for now...probably be New Years before I write again!
