Laura...welcome back from the Great Outdoors! Brrrr camping in the snow! Heck, I've never even camped in good weather...maybe one of these days. Glad you managed to dodge the bears and hunters...and made it out safe and sound. I know what you mean about re-adjusting to civilization....well kind of. When I was in southern Utah, and then Lake Tahoe...and had to go back to Las Vegas...WOW what a shock to the system...talk about sensory overload! Ok, so not quite the same as backbacking for 4 days...and then coming to "civilazation" like probably Lake Placid? But as close as I come relate!

Looking forward to the pictures!
