Date Posted: Tue, Feb 17 2004, 15:47:16 Well, my wife and I had a similar encounter last week with another Timeshare company called Oriental Travel. Throughout the supposedly 75 minutes presentation, they did not reveal the price of the membership right until the very end and they didn't mention anything about "timeshare" throughout the presentation. Their tactics is to use two salesman - one good guy and the other a bad guy (manager). The good guy would get *scolding* and sarcastic remarks from his manager throughout this thing and I feel this is a scam to win some sympathy from the victims. Luckily in the end, we resisted their hardsell tactics and got away with 2 movie tickets. As for the supposedly free hotel stay, I won't even think about it. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
