] Date Posted: Tue, Feb 17 2004, 11:56:20 Hi everyone, After reading all your messages, I just realised I have been conned by Vanasia Consultancy in Singapore (Maxwell Road). I signed up with them in Jan 2003 and paid $500 for the refund scheme (which means if they don't re-sell my timeshare within a yr, they would refund this $500 to me). Within this one yr, their communications have been very poor, making empty promises to send me letters/emails regarding selling my timeshare, but I did not receive anything! I asked them continuously for it and the outcome is still the same - empty promises but nothing from them! As I am located overseas, they are trying to avoid my calls now when I call them. A warning to everyone, "DO NOT EVER TRUST VANASIA CONSULTANCY (LOCATED IN MAXWELL HOUSE) IN SINGAPORE!" The guy who I signed up with is called DARAN RAVIN (an Indian guy). There is also this manager who I contacted with called Caroline and the receptionist Susan. All of them are cons!!! Date Posted: Wed, Feb 18 2004, 9:41:41 You are right abt VANASIA. When I wanted to sale my LGM timeshare, I inform LGM of my intention. The next day, I received a call from DARAN. I did not publicise my intention and LGM was the only one who knows abt it. Ramesh fr LGM must have pass my contact to him. The offer was the same but I was lucky not to have signed up with them..The office was bear, and tiny and he wasn't convincing enough..Told me tha the resale market was good and shown me some 'bogus' contract signed by other client. My advice ..don't fall for resale company...they are further con and is linked to LGM. LGM , Lies, Gags and Mispresentation. Scott [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
