Hi all,

I have bought timeshares 4 years ago and I paid $8,800 in full.

However, I regretted after that. So I didn't pay for any of the maintainance fees.

Is it true that I have lost my membership? And there is no way for me to get a partial refund?

Pls help me!

Hi Kow Loong,

There is a difference btw timeshare and a holiday club. If its a timeshare , you would have some sort of 'title deed' to a resort for two weeks. If you have a holiday club, you do not own anything except a promised service from a company who act like a holiday broker ie. they help you source and book your holiday. They also double up as travel agents. Do look at our website for a more detailed definition or at http://www.timeshare.org.uk/whatis.html

If you are still interested in your timeshare property, perhaps you should enquire from the company you bought from.
