Shouldn't you do something about it? Those "fakos" telemarketers you mentioned are the ones harming your livelihood as a "professional" interviewer, not pple who have got a bad impression of surveys, interviews becos of them. Write a police report, inform the press, go down Orchard Road and tell off these "fakos" when you see them. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

Date Posted: Tue, Feb 24 2004, 0:48:03 in fact,i think such companies should be banned!tis kinda unethical hard-selling con companies!perhaps we should get an online petition rolling! one thing is tat i get very upset when i read bout bad reports in e net..its very unfair to see us, true blue interviewers, in e same light as those fakos.. i would understand tat there r many ppl esp in city hall conducting fake surveys..however, its actually very easy to tell apart real n fake surveys tat r conducted only to get ur name n number so tat they can get telemarketeers to call u up for another round of hardcore selling.if u dun feel comfortable after answering e survey,u can always give a fake number.. still,if e survey is for real, it is stil compulsory for e interviewer to request for ur contact number bcoz we are paid by every survey done n not by e basic..n bcoz of tis, validators from e research company wil call e respondents at random to check n make sure tat e survey is conducted in e proper manner n not sth we fill up ourselves. at e end of e day,its how much u trust e 'interviewer' tat matters.if u feel suspicious of e purpose,u can always give a fake number,or not give any number at all..anyway,u got nth to lose by answering a few questions..u may even stand to gain! i hope my bringing up of e topic will shed light on readers on who to trust n who not to..
