I received a call from LGM, Customer Care Division to say that they can buy over my timeshare (HCAP). Has any of you received such calls before?

Background:

I posted a yahoo ad last year to sell my timeshare. After seeing my ad, a lady (Rascinda) called to say she's from LGM / Customer Care Division and she would like to invite me to a free consulation provided by LGM to help timeshare owners understand how they can fully maximise the benefits of timeshare or sell their timeshare. I asked her a few questions but she doesn't seem to be able to answer me, just kept persuading me to attend the free consulation. I told her i'm not interested and hung up the phone. She called me a few times and i told her everytime that i am not interested.

Yesterday, I received a call again from a guy (Phillip) from the same co. He said he's now handling my case. He again invited me to the free consultation. He told me he could buy over my timeshare at 50%-80% of my purchase price. I told him I really doubt his words and he said he can understand why (cos we hv been con before, etc). After much persuasion from him, I'm now thinking of meeting him this Sat to see what they have to offer.

So I would like to know if anybody from this forum attended their 'free consultation' before and what was the outcome of the consultation?

Thanks.

Obviously not! These people are unscrupulous. Scams after scams. I hope our Police would do something about it.
