Please read more about my posting, "Beware of the timeshare resale scam!!!" by ccn666 on the timeshare resale crooks. I have so far received 2 cold calls 4 months ago, one from VANASIA and the other one from JNK. I will now present you my way of dealing with all these timeshare resale crooks and you may even want to adopt my method if it makes sense to you too. My cell phone rang ... ------------------------------------- Me: Hello. Timeshare Resale Crook: Hello, Mr. Choo. This is Timeshare Resale Crook from Timeshare Scam Company. I was wondering whether you are a member of any holiday club and I would like to take a bit of your time to introduce my company to you. Don't worry, I'm not trying to sell you anything! Me: No, I am not a member of any holiday club and how the hell did you get my phone number in the first place? Timeshare Resale Crook: Oh, sorry about that. I got your particulars from CVC in Spain. You sure you don't want to sell away your holiday club membership. We have ready buyers who can afford to pay you a very high price. Me: Mr. Timeshare Resale Crook, this is a very serious breach of privacy. For the last time, I am telling you that I am not a member of any holiday club. Please stop calling me ever again from this instance, otherwise I will not hesitate to report you to the police for making nuisance calls to me. Consider yourself warned. Timeshare Resale Crook: No, no, Mr. Choo. Please don't misunderstand. I am not selling you anything ... ------------------------------------- And he went on but I just cut him short by simply hanging up my phone. I never heard from these 2 crooks again. In fact, I have never received any cold calls from these timeshare resale scammers again. Yes, I'm absolutely sure that all these timeshare crooks have a very well-developed network among themselves and they have only one simple goal: to extract as much money as possible from all the unsuspecting victims out there. And I am also very sure that this Timeshare Victims Support Group forum has long been infiltrated by timeshare spies, scammers and evildoers, so I only have this to say to you: I challenge you to cold call me again and I will make good my threat. Yes, bring it on if you dare. Go ahead, make my day. I'm not afraid of you scammers. ------------------------------------- Lastly, please take some time to read this article by the Consumer Protection Section of North Carolina Department of Justice in USA. Very important note to remember: IF THE TIMESHARE RESALE COMPANY IS GENUINE IN HELPING YOU TO SELL OFF YOUR TIMESHARE MEMBERSHIP, IT SHOULD ONLY CHARGE YOU A FEE AFTER IT HAS SUCCESSFULLY SOLD IT OFF FOR YOU, NOT BEFORE.
