Hope it helps.: If you have just received a copy of the latest LGM Newsletter (Issue no. 5 Jun/Jul/Aug 04), please turn to page 11 and you will see 2 pictures of winners of the LGM 9th Anniversary Lucky Draw. That just confirms that LGM has been conning Singaporeans and foreign tourists for the past 9 bloody years!!! But LGM was formerly known as HMI and that just means that those same bloody bastards together with that cold-blooded monster Managing Director have been conning people for more than a decade and the authorities have done absolutely nothing whatsoever! So, it just means that LGM is the master of deception. They can scam you left, right, centre, upside down, inside out. They make a living deceiving and scamming people, so YOU WILL NEVER WIN!!! Just stop wasting your time negotiating with them period CASE and CAD have been absolutely useless in dealing with LGM NOT because LGM is only a marketing company. Just imagine this scenario: LGM salesman tries his best to con you into buying a car, claiming that it is the fastest car in the world. You sign a contract to buy the car and later you found out that the claim was absolutely false. You scream bloody fraud and that is exactly what it is, a fraud because you have just been conned left, right, centre, upside down, inside out. But the contract that you signed was perfectly legal and that is all that CASE and CAD will ever look at. If you are in the USA, you can sue LGM left, right, centre, upside down, inside out for fraud or misrepresentation but it's just your luck that you are in Singapore where everything under the sun is world class which obviously includes the world class weakest consumer protection laws. Coupled with the fact that LGM is the most established (more than a decade old) and most charitable organisation around (please refer to LGM Newsletter page 10, bloody prize sponsor and supporter of Lions Club of Singapore Stamford Charity Tea Dance Party and page 11, LGM members fun-filled Family Day @ Singapore Discovery Centre Excursion), CASE and CAD can't even begin to touch LGM, let alone sue them for fraud! So, the moral of the story is: Quit wasting time and money and efforts with CASE and CAD! So, what else can you do? Join us in our group action against LGM. Yes, massive action because I'm not going to lie to you: Suing LGM is not an easy nor simple task. But you have no other choice to get your money back here in Singapore, the greatest country in the world unless you sue them. Have faith and confidence in yourselves. No one else is willing to help you ... not CASE, not CAD, not STPB, not the government, not your favourite MP, so you have to believe in yourself and do it yourself. If you think that you will win and you have done your best, you may or may not win but chances of winning is very high. But if you think that you will lose, you will always lose no matter how much you have trained or prepared yourself. The "nasty upgraded-to-CVC-then-received-payment-request scam" is not something new because quite a few of the members in our group action have the exact same experience. And you will never know that unless you are in a group, talking to each other like us. LGM likes to use the divide-and-conquer tactic and they love to target the middle and lower income group that do not have the financial resources to sue them. In a nutshell, we are in the same boat, so we can help each other to screw LGM back for a change. I am so sick and tired of being the helpless victim, so I have decided that enough is enough and I took massive action to fight LGM. It's LGM's turn to be afraid now. I am not a lawyer, so please talk to Mr. Ismail Atan because you have absolutely nothing to lose. Just remember this: YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Unity is strength and there is definitely strength in numbers.
