] Date Posted: Mon, Nov 01 2004, 12:40:28 In reply to: Jay 's message, "Lawyer letters from ERI" on Fri, Oct 29 2004, 21:39:47 I signed up with LGM and paid $2500. I've realised that what was said during the presentation and what they can actually deliver is not true. I've refused to pay the maintenance fee and willing to forego my deposit of $2500. But I've just received their lawyer's letter demanding that I pay the whole sum of $7800 in 7 days or a writ of summon will be issued. How come LGM can do anything they want like lying, cheating, not to metion greedy and still the law never catches up with them. I am a law abiding citizen and why should I continue to pay for something that I'm not satisfied with. If there is a law that protects the consumers how come CASE is unable to do anything and companies like LGM is still lawfully operating? Date Posted: Sat, Nov 20 2004, 13:22:03 Hi Ang, I shared your feeling. Me too just received LGM's lawyer letter demanding outstanding payment of $5000. Although I have already written to them previously that I willingly to give up all my previous payment of $7500 mage to them by cancelling the contract but they refused and insisted on the balance outstanding payment. : ( [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
