They said they are calling from starhub and offering me a free digital camera for being a loyal customer for 4 years. When I ask them to send me a letter of the same, they sent me the following email (see below). I was already aware of this company OT TRAVEL PTE. LTD.,(Oriental Travel). I had a bad experience with them. They called me for a free lecture and asked me to deposit S$10,000 for some stupid plan of theirs. Luckly I was brave enough to say NO to them and walk away without signing anything. Now, they try to fool me again. This is for any one who also gets a similar email, STAY AWAY FROM THEM. As previously stated, this event is a genuine advertising promotion to introduce the services of a licensed travel agent. Date Posted: Tue, Apr 25 2006, 15:16:07 I must thank the internet for providing quick info on OT. I was approached by the staff this morning thru'ofc phone call. In order to claim the prize I must answer a few questions (exactly what Benjamin has listed). Well, Bingo !I got all correct answers !! He asked if I wanted to claim my prize thru' fax or email. I chose the latter. He told me to come down to their office this or next week with my husband to claim !! He assured me no strings attached, simply give aways. I found it fishy and started questioning the caller if its a time share. He got the cheek to answer "NO" and asked me if I've been approached before by Time Share Company. I asked him many questions instead. Finally he asked me to hold on & passed the call to his supervisor !!! Well, I started to question even more !!! I asked for the contact no. and supervisor asked me why I requested that in the middle of conversation. I told him I want to verify further. He was beginning to sound irritated that I was not buying his idea.
