Ok! Now, here's an update of what I'm in the midst of doing. I'm forming a Class Action group for all LGM-CVC victims to join me in our mass lawsuit against LGM. I'm not sure if you have heard of the Raffles Town Club case where the members sue the club for failing to deliver what they promised and they won the lawsuit (http://www.countryclubs.com/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=41). What I'm going to do is something like that.

Basically, I'm starting this Class Action against LGM and I'm sourcing for potential victims (only CVC victim) who are willing to join me in the lawsuit against them. My lawyer told me that if I can gather a group of victims who are willing to testify against LGM, the chances of winning the case is very high (since time-share companies are already receiving alot of bad publicity, the court would surely not give in to them with so many people wanting to sue them). At the same time, having a group of victims to take legal action against LGM will lower our legal fees. The legal fees will be based on one person who file the lawsuit. The only thing is the fees will be shared by the rest of the victims. In this way, it is definitely a cheaper but effective alternative. Besides, some of us do have hard-proofs to accuse them of "Misinterpretation" in their sales gimmicks. So we have a strong case against them. If I can win the case with your support under the Class Action, all who are involved can also file for a quantum claim against LGM without individually going to court case with them.

If you are a CVC members and you think you have a strong case against LGM, I welcome you to join me in the fight against them.

Many of you may think..."Hey! I'm promised a cashback of all my investment after a certain years when I took up the CVC package. So, why don't I wait till that time comes, then I terminate my relationship with LGM after getting my cashback!". Seriously speaking, I'm not puting much hope on this cashback scheme as I believe this is basically a BIG SCAM! Would a company be so generous to return you your full investment and at the same time allow you to enjoy their club membership? Imagine, so many people invested in this cashback scheme and if at the end of the day (after so many years), everyone is claiming the cashback, the company would have to go broke! If you invested in bank, maybe it is possible but never with people from LGM-CVC! ***Btw, I was once called down to LGM (after I purchased the CVC package with cashback) and you know what they are trying to sell? They told me my cashback investment may not promised me a full return unless I'm willing to re-invest to secure that cashback investment. If I don't re-invest, I may probably get back only the minimum basic sum guaranteed...WHAT CRAP ARE THEY TALKING? Now you know why I don't put much hope in the cashback scheme...

So instead of waiting till that tragic day where you can't possibly get back your full investment, I would suggest you sue them based on "Misinterpretation" of their promises and get back the money now than to regret later.

At first I have thought of going thru CASE but I found out that it will not work if you want to file a quantum claim against them. CASE is not a law-enforcing agency and so they have no power to demand anything if LGM is not responding to them. So far, CASE has never really been successful to help LGM victims in such cases. Maybe if you are willing to throw away your investment and ask for a termination of the contract, it is possible but I think this is a silly decision to make and you don't do justice to yourself (your money) or to your fellow victims.

Next weekend, I will be going down to LGM to meet up with their director and to demand for my membership rights (ie. no yearly subscription for CVC - only upon usage, and fees to be fixed at $250 - no further increment). I know it would not be a good conclusion but this will be my last appointment with them. If they cannot fulfil what they first promised us, THE REAL BATTLE WILL BEGIN!

I really hope everyone who are victims of LGM will stand up and help me (or yourself) in one way or another.

If you are willing to join me, I would appreciate you email me at rogerpyt@yahoo.com.sg so that I can get in touch with you if there is a need.

Thanks and regards,
Roger Phua

I am not a victim of LGM or any of the scam companies out there, but I certainly would like to see LGM being sued to the last dollar. LGM is a marketing company, marketing a bogus product....CVC whatever not. This is one way to get people into signing up another bogus membership with them. What you are getting is another product that cannot be used....That's why they can make the product very attractive because it never exist in the first place.

Do not relate what they are selling to timeshare membership. Timeshare is a legitimate product....I own one myself and it works very well for me....But these people(LGM)are selling a bogus product....that is not a timeshare product.

I will be happy to see this company sued to the last penny....at least it stops people from getting cheated.
