Hi Harris,
Are you a member for this 'Oriental Travel' timeshare?
We went for the talk recently. Can you tell us what exactly did they offer (if any) after you signed up?

Thanks,
Lin

Hi Lin,

Pse tell us whats your experience was like as it was as recent as Sep 2004.

Are they different now?

We need to know coz they are still marketing aggressively but we are not sure if its still time share.

We actually has signed up for the membership and paid the deposit of $2000. When we wanted to cancel the contract within 3 days cooling period, we were told that we will not get back our deposit as there is an administion fee of $2000 to pay as well, another trap!!

Hi Ravi & Allan, sorry for not replying your message early. After I posted the message, I was trying to get back my deposit. Went to the office few times and went to CASE as well. Eventually, I got back my full refund with the helps from CASE.

Hi Sandra, I have just signed up and paid some deposit by credit card, but only because they have included a 7-day "cooling-off period" which is more than the "3-day" under the recently implemented Fair Trading Act.
Unfortunately, I have not known about this forum before signing up. Naturally, I am very eager to find out the latest status of your experience. Did you manage to have your contract cancelled with all the deposit you had paid refunded? Thank you and looking forward to your response.

Hi Ben .. I had da same problem paid abt 10k... now felt cheated as all the prices at the hotels and resorts are more expensive than at their own hotel websites. So is it really true CASE can help on these? Thankss

Hi guys,

This is really good that you are sharing your expereinces. I went to their seminar only two days ago. They convinced me to join them for 35 years Gold Crown service. I was about to pay, when my wife sensed that something is very fishy, as what they told me before I agreed to become member, and what they wrote in the paper for me to sign was different. Hence even after signing that form I refused to pay them and their attitude was very hostile. Now I feel lucky.
