I was approached few days ago by this Emerald Networth Consultancy who offered legal services to help timeshare victims to terminate their contract, with a set of legal fees of $4999 SGD. They offered a lawyer for this service and showed photocopied black & white documents that the lawyer has succeeded in terminated a contract with ERI. They offered this as a one-time payment to help you terminate your membership and also help you get back the membership fees. Has anyone tried out their services? What do you guys think? I was quoted $18000 by the Malay guy(forgot his name).Not to be racist but the company was full of malay.After telling them I want to consider,they come out with all the crap discount.I've never come across any legal firms giving discount.....and after i've gone to many horrible CONpany I've decided not to proceed on.The best part was that there'll be admin fees of $600!!!!if I don't commit on that day.....after consulting my own lawyer,he told me i'm lucky that i did not go on and commit....terminating my membership with my own lawyer was only $380.I've bitten once.i'd rather pay my own lawyer then waste thousands of dollars to a CONsultant company. Tell you what, don't need to pay or keep on looking for any party help you to terminate or sell your "TimeShare & CVC" Coz it wouldn't help. You will juz step in antoher scam.. Today I just got a call from this lady (Jo) saying that she is from Emerald Network Consultancy and they are gathering 800 over people to do a mass lawsuit for LGM victims against LGM. Said thay are working alongside with the Timeshare Consumers Association (which I later discovered is based in UK only) to help LGM victims to retrieve back their CVC investment. I check the internet for a list of blacklisted company and EMERALD NETWORK CONSULTANCY is one of them! I had plan to go down to their company at first but now I decided not to go there anymore so as not to waste my time. This incident clearly show the evil nature of human. Already we are poor victims of the unlawful hell scam and yet there are people who wants to put us into deeper hell! This lady name NADIA claimed as above mentioned and even told me that I do not have to pay anything just bring down the document so I made an appt with her then. Before I went down I actually went to CASE for enquiry and they told me there is no such thing that CAD & CASE are working with these so call CONs company in order to sell yr timeshare. They said there is so far no way you can sell away the timeshare. So guys out there pls dun believe any companies who call you n say they can help you to sell away yr timeshare or whatever reason in order to make you waste yr time going down talk to them.
