Hi Harris,

I feel so sorry and sad to hear about your experience and I can definitely relate to how you feel about it. I do hope that we can all meet up and discuss about taking legal action against LGM as soon as possible.

I must thank all of you for sharing your experience for the benefit of all.

Have faith, we shall prevail, my friends!

Best regards,

Choo Chun Nam

My husband and I bought the Calypso Timeshare for $24,000 in 2000. We tried the Timeshare last year. To our great disappointment, we did not get to enjoy 30% discounts on airfares, themeparks and so on. We realised that we had been cheated, but we did not want to give up $24,000 for nothing. Thinking that we could not do much about things that are not written down black and white in the contract, we resigned ourselves to this foolish mistake we made.

Then we upgraded our timeshare to CVC to cut down on our losses, based on the salesperson's calculations. This cost $9,500.

In all, we have paid about $33,000. (sigh)

We are considering engaging Mr Ismail, the legal associate featured in Timeshare Victims Hit Back (ST 9 Nov 2003) to deal with our case. Perhaps LGM victims with experiences similar to ours can pool our resources together to fight a legal battle and get our hard-earned money back.

Hi Fern
Sad to hear your loss. I too was pestered by them to upgrade. The upgrade to CVC sounded good since they say i dont have to worry about the maintenance fees but after reading our members problems to the CVC, I did not give in to them.
please let me, us know of your outcome with Mr Ismail, as to whether we have any solid reason to get our money back.
Mebbe if ALL of us join hands, we can win this battle.
