...yup, my experience was very similar to that of the good lookin' Mr. "Need Advice". Thanks for that post, mate.

I was less successful in finding out how much I would have to pay for the "ATTA" process. They would also not let me keep the jottings done by Cathy (one of the reps). When I became more searching, Cathy called her "Boss", Mr. Jasbir Singh, Travel Manager. He seemed like a good, straightforward chap and he spoke a bit less obviously from a script. He claimed that only one lawyer has managed to get a "licence" to deal with timeshare terminations and that he has "paid him a lot of money" as a retainer, I guess. If we get our own lawyers, apparently they would eventually have to go through this special lawyer. How can this be? Can't the Singapore Judiciary stamp on this bloody timeshare problem once and for all and nominate several lawyers to deal with the terminations? I heard there are about 14000 of us suckers out there who could not withstand the original badgering and loud music. There's money to be made and we are happy to pay it. Good luck to all of us! (I am still unsure about OBN... I left without leaving a mark on any paper).
