Subject: Civil War Memorial Ceremony

Hello, I was browsing through your site and when checking the memorial section. I noticed that there wasn't a listing for a memorial held for Fred Fleming. I just wanted to let you know that there was a memorial ceremony for one of my relatives, Frederick Nelson "Fightin' Fred" Fleming. he served in the Civil War from November 1, 1861 until November 2, 1862. He appeared on the muster roll in June of 1862. He enlisted in Whitesburg, KY in Ben E. Caudill's Company of the original Company F, 5th Kentucky Infantry. The exact location of the enlistment was near the mouth of Sandlick at the current location of the Super 8 and Food City which was the homeplace of Ben Caudill's father, John A. Caudill. Frederick's time of service reveals that he fought in a number of battles including the biggest battle in eastern Kentucky, The Battle of Middle Creek on January 10, 1862.

You can find the article for this memorial at: http://www.users.kih.net/%7Echrisfleming/Confed/Ceremony.htm

also, just wandering if anyone knew where I could find this particular muster roll?
