Private Jackson Combs, born 1-28-1837, died 4-27-1914, son of Jeremiah Lorenzo and Sally Kelly Combs: married Mary A. Young in 1859; they had 12 children:Jeremiah, Armelda,Isabell,Fielden,Polly Ann, William,Anderson, Larcena,Reece, Sarah,Naomi, and Lenore. Jackson was conscripted into Company I of the 13th KY Cavalry on October 18, 1862 and discharged on October 24, 1862.
