I thought it was totally lame to kill Buffy because we all know she'll be back. Even my Interview Friend, who was completely spoiler-less, didn't quite believe it. Where is the dramatic tension in that? I'll tell you - it's in a guessing game of, "How is Mutant Enemy going to pull off bringing Buffy back." Shouldn't it be, "Oh no! Buffy died! What happens now?" Realistically, there's no way to pull off the latter, so why bother doing the Buffy dies thing in the first place?

I'm looking forward to seeing (irregularly, now that it'll be on UPN) what they do with Willow (Who is a bit of a Gabrielle-like character, don't you think?) now that she's established as a kick-BUTT witch.
