That's exactly it. It's just not believeable, and even if your going to bring the main character back the characters death should be something profound. That said someone had told me that SMG had threatened to walk if it had moved, but you have to think we would have heard if the next two seasons would be Buffy-less or have a new person playing her... but to be frank Ive seen enough of SMG's ability to angst, worse comes to worse Ill watch just to see if it is a new Buffy.
